A member of the Falantil Forca de Defensa Timor Leste teaches U.S. Marines with Task Force Koa Moana 17 how to open a coconut during Jungle Warfare Survival Training as a part of Exercise Crocodilo in Metinaro, Timor Leste, Sept. 8, 2017. Koa Moana 17 is designed to improve interoperability with our partners, enhance military-to-military relations, and expose the Marine Corps forces to different types of terrain for familiarity in the event of a natural disaster in the region.
