Lithuanian, Ukrainian and U.S. Soldiers discussed standard operating procedures during the Command Post Exercise as part of Rapid Trident 17, Sept. 14, 2017, at the International Peacekeeping Security Center in Yavoriv, Ukraine. This portion of the exercise is designed to train unit commanders and their staff. The CPX uses simulated events in an environment to exercise their communication channels with higher headquarters and any subordinate units.
