Service Members from 1st Battalion, 128th Infantry assisted the Miami-Dade PD and Florida Highway Patrol with public safety operations as part of Hurricane Irma relief operations. On Sept. 8, Wis. Gov. Scott Walker signed an executive order, which authorized the adjutant general to call elements of the Wisconsin National Guard to state active duty, as necessary.
