3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division

The GREYWOLF Brigade assumed responsibility for U.S. military operations in the Muthanna, Dhi Qar, Maysan and Basrah provinces from the 3rd Advise and Assist Bde., 4th Inf. Div. of Fort Carson, Colo.
