Green, a mortarman from Detroit, serves as an advisor assigned to 1st Battalion, 21st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, responsible for supervising and providing safety for the Iraqi students as they test their skills with a live-fire exercise as part of Tadreeb al Shamil, Arabic for All-Inclusive Training. During Tadreeb al Shamil, U.S. advisors train Iraqi units on the tactics and skills necessary to build the IA's national defense capabilities.
