Michigan Army National Guard Lt. Col. Raymond Stemitz, Battalion Commander of 1st Battalion, 125th Infantry Regiment (1-125 IN), and 2nd Lt. Ryan Brooks of Company B, 1-125 IN, based out of Saginaw, Michigan, take part in the final training event of Exercise Viking Star 2017 September 20, 2017, at Danish Home Guard Nymindegab Training Center in Denmark. Exercise Viking Star 2017 is an Overseas Deployment for Training (ODT) involving the 1-125th Infantry Regiment of the Michigan Army National Guard. Soldiers from Bravo Company based in Saginaw, Michigan, conduct combative training, orienteering and joint live fire exercises with the Danish Home Guard and Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry.
