U.S. Marines with 1st Marine Logistics Group (MLG) and 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division (MARDIV), cross an improved ribbon bridge on the Colorado River during the Deep Strike II exercise at River Valley, Calif., Sept. 14, 2017. The exercise allowed 1st MARDIV Marines to train with 1st MLG Marines in order to combine the efforts of ground and logistics combat elements in one long range military operation.
