Geoffroy Roussel, commanding officer of the French navy Cassard-class anti-air destroyer Jean Bart (FFG 0615), Capt. Xavier Breitel, commanding officer of the French navy Aquitaine-class anti-submarine warfare destroyer Auvergne (D654) and Rear Adm. Nimitz is currently deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
