Staff Sgt. Garrette Guidry, maintenance chief for C Company, 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, and a native of Lake Arthur, La., takes a set of pots and pans and his family's secret blend of Cajun spices wherever he goes. When C Company is in the field or deployed, Guidry's vehicle becomes a source of occasional home-cooked meals for the Marines. Guidry hopes to open a Cajun restaurant after the Marine Corps, where he says the house special will be crawfish.
