Lance Cpl. Jonathan Blake, assigned to the 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force, uses an AN/PDR-77 Radiac to detect possible surface contaminates on the sole of a shoe during an authorized voluntary departure of Department of Defense dependents and Navy civilians from the island of Honshu, Japan. The departure was authorized due to damage caused by the recent 9.0 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami.
