TWO BOTTLES OF WATER, SOME "5-50" CORD AND ONE GOOD WARRANT OFFICER - Want to know why the Army values warrant officers so much? Take this example: Just prior to the deployment ceremony for the 3637th Support Maintenance Company, the support personnel realized that they had one gigantic American Flag, but no hydraulic lift to raise it. Chief Warrant Officer 4 Brandon Defenbaugh stepped back, assessed the problem, and asked for two plastic water bottles and some 5-50 cord. It took one toss for one side of the flag and two tosses for the other side; and up Old Glory went!
