A CH-47 Chinook helicopter from 101st Airborne Division, Task Force Currahee, hovers above a sling load to allow a rigger to attach it to the helicopter on March 21 in Paktika province, Afghanistan. The sling load contained concrete and humanitarian aid, courtesy of the 1249th Engineer Battalion, Task Force Gridley, in order to assist villagers in building a dam and providing sustenance after a harsh winter took a toll on the village’s agriculture.
