Early Thursday morning, three competitors for the 229th Military Intelligence Battalion's Platoon Sergeant of the Year competition completed their physical fitness assessments with a 12 mile ruck march at Fort Ord National Monument Badger Hill Trail Head, Monterey CA. The Platoon Sergeant of the Year competition is a four day event for the "best-of-the-best," putting the competitors through physical and mental tests pertaining to Army knowledge and standards.
