Soldiers with the 247th Composite Supply Company, 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Col., arrive on Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Sept. 28, 2017. The 247th CSC soldiers are prepared to run life support operations including preparing and serving hot meals, showers, and maintenance and communication services for soldiers of the 602nd Area Support Medical Company, 261st Multifunctional Medical Battalion, 44th Medical Brigade, Fort Bragg, N.C., as they provide triage, a variety of medical treatments, and pre-evacuation care in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria.
