(Sept. 28, 2017) - Second Officer Tim Winters, the navigator aboard the Military Sealift Command dry cargo/ammunition ship USNS Matthew Perry (T-AKE 9), gives shipboard firefighting training to East Jefferson Fire & Rescue and Port Ludlow Fire & Rescue. Navy Region Northwest Fire & Rescue and the Perry teamed up to teach local fire and rescue departments about the equipment and tactics used in combating shipboard fires.
