(170929-M-KN503-010) U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 29, 2017) – Marines and Sailors with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and America Amphibious Ready Group practice Combat Life-Saving skills aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). The Course implemented the use of an IV and the proper protocol when used to save a fellow brother or sister in arms. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit is embarked on the America ARG and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl.
