Staff Sgt. Brandon Benson, 374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, is a C-130 aircraft engine mechanic at Yokota Air Base, Japan. A native of Charlotte, N.C., Benson inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortions, corrosion, security, or other types of damage. He also performs regular comprehensive engine checks to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.
