A U.S. Marine Corps AH-1Z Viper helicopter assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 169, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) fires two training missiles over ranges in Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 28, 2017. The squadron conducted aerial live-fire training in Okinawa, which is crucial to maintaining a stronger, more capable, forward deployed force in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
