A U.S. Army Research Laboratory employee sets up a 3D printing machine to begin the process of building an unmanned aerial system vehicle during a demonstration by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Sept. 26, 2017. The UAS vehicles are designed to cater to individual missions based on distance, endurance, and carrying capacity needs. By creating a system that is easier to set up and more cost effective than traditional UAS devices, the U.S. Army Research Laboratory hopes to revolutionize the way troops conduct assignments.(U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl.
