Ten Army UH-60 and three HH-60 Blackhawk helicopters that participated in this year's bilateral field training exercise ORIENT SHIELD, arrived here Sept. 22 for pre-loading preparations. Upon landing the helicopter maintenance crews began to immediate prepare each for transport by folding rotor blades and aligning them with the body of the helicopter. Later they were towed to a warehouse until loading aboard an Army ship over the next two days for transport back to their home station. The helicopters participated in the exercise, which began Sept. 11 primarily between U.S. Army and Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members.
