SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 2, 2017) Lance Cpl. Nathan Colter, assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, demonstrates the operation of an MK19 grenade launcher to students of the Turlock High School Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps during Fleet Week San Francisco. Fleet week provides an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard team and to experience America’s sea services. Fleet Week San Francisco will highlight naval personnel, equipment, technology, and capabilities, with an emphasis on humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
