170930-M-CK339-030 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Sept. 30, 2017) –Sailors secure a Marine with simulated injuries onto a stretcher during a mass casualty training drill aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), Sept. 30, 2017. The simulated drill was held in order to train Sailors and Marines in dealing with multiple casualties. San Diego is deployed with the America Amphibious Ready Group and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit to support maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations.
