Chief Petty Officer Jose Avena, engineman, a member of the Damage Control Training Team, debriefs sailors following a total ship survivability exercise aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Comstock. The team ensures the proper damage control training of Comstock's personnel during simulated emergency scenarios. Comstock, part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group, and elements of the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in the 7th Fleet's area of operation in the western Pacific Ocean.
