NEWPORT, R.I. (Sept. 22, 2017) Surface Warfare Officers School Command instructors demonstrate the potential impacts of being fully dressed out in Mission Oriented Protective Posture (MOPP) gear on the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) bridge watch team for observers from Naval Medical Research Unit Dayton, Ohio. The instructors performed various functions in the LCS Full Mission Bridge simulator while wearing the protective gear, which is used by U.S. military personnel in a toxic environment, such as during a chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear attack.
