U.S. Air Force members of the 156th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron work to move mock aircraft accident victims from a C-130 Hercules aircraft to the triage area during the Triennial National Disaster Medical Systems Exercise held at the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, N.C., Oct. 8, 2017. The exercise goal is to demonstrate the ability to alert, notify, and respond to an aircraft accident utilizing and communicating between various organizations to ultimately recover and render medical aid to victims.
