The Army Women’s Foundation hosted a forum and panel discussion during the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2017 annual meeting and exposition Oct. 9, 2017 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. Brig. Gen. Cindy R. Jebb (left) and Chief Warrant Officer 5 Phyllis Wilson (right) discuss the challenges, accomplishments and shared experiences of their military careers. Wilson was recently inducted to the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame in Washington, D.C. Wilson credits the U.S. Army Reserve with allowing her to continue to serve while she attended college, raised a family and begin a civilian career as a nurse. “Leaving active duty for the Army Reserve was a great option for me to continue serving my country while being a wife, mother, student and everything else I needed to be,” said Wilson. AUSA is a non-profit educational and professional organization that supports America’s Army, our Soldiers, Army civilians, and their families.
