The Marines and Sailors of 1st Marine Raider Support Battalion view historical displays and artifacts following a lecture, Sept. 29, 2017 on Camp Pendleton, Calif., on the Office of Strategic Services Maritime Unit, an early special operations force created during World War II. The special guest at the lecture was Henry Weldon, the last living OSS frogman. The frogmen underwent a rigorous training pipeline led by Marine Raiders. The event was held in order to sustain the Marines’ understanding and appreciation for the legacy forged by the Raiders of World War II. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Bryann K. Whitley/ released)
