Soldiers from the 6th Battalion, 9th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, work with the crew of the U.S. Army Logistics Support Vessel-5, Maj. Gen. Charles P. Gross, to load the first of their equipment to be used for the Iron Union 17-4 exercise in the southern Arabian Peninsula. Soldiers from the 35th Infantry Division, 3-1 Cav., and U.S. contractors worked together by conducting months of planning to get the vehicles and equipment to and from Kuwait for the quarterly exercise.
