Spc. Joel Giesting, who serves as a budget analyst with Third Army, and an Indianapolis, Ind., native, is handed his diploma after graduating from the Third Army NCO Academy at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, March, 26. The 14-day course teaches soldiers leadership skills to include how to fill out a counseling statement, type memos and march a formation of soldiers. The course also trains soldiers how to lead the new Army Physical Readiness Training.
