Children at School Age Care are greeted with a fist bump with Brian Hickox, paramedic with Fire and Emergency Services, as they climb into an ambulance for a tour during a Fire Safety Week event held aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Oct. 11. Throughout the week, fire prevention officers, firefighters and paramedics with Fire and Emergency Services hosted several events to inform and educate children an adults alike on the importance of fire safety protocols.
