Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit stationed aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Whidbey Island replace a 525 Cummins 903 engine from an amphibious assault vehicle in the ships well deck. The Whidbey Island deployed ahead of its original schedule in order to relieve units from the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group in the Mediterranean Sea.
