USS Puller, named after one of the most decorated members of the U.S. Marine Corps – Lt. Gen. Lewis “Chesty” Puller, was commissioned as a U.S. Navy warship Aug. 17, 2017 in Bahrain and will remain forward deployed in support of a broad range of missions in the U.S. 5th Fleet.
