Steve Cum, Jr., Air Force Surgeon General medical enlisted force chief, during a visit to the 81st Medical Group Oct. 17, 2017, on Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The purpose of Ediger’s visit was to get familiar with the 81st MDG’s mission, operations and personnel. During his tour, he visited more than 10 different units in the 81st MDG to include mammography, emergency department, radiology and oncology, genetics and the clinical research laboratory.
