CAMP FOSTER, OKINAWA, Japan – Saundra Ladd poses for a photo during the Breast Cancer Awareness Zumbathon Oct. 20 at the Community Center aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The zumbathon was hosted to raise breast cancer awareness among the local and military communities during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. About 12.4 percent of women born in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Women starting in their 20s should conduct self-checks of their breasts and schedule mammograms to help detect any early stages so treatment can be started immediately. Ladd is the breast cancer survivor guest speaker at the Breast Cancer Awareness Zumbathon. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Kelcey Seymour)
