Students from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Class 288 participate in log physical training during First Phase training at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Log physical training is one of many physically demanding evolutions and has remained a part of BUD/s throughout the history of SEAL training. The Navy SEALs are the maritime component of U.S. Special Operations Forces and are trained to conduct a variety of operations from the sea, air and land.
