    Lance Cpl. Miguel A. Sanchez, a Paterson, N.J., native, and an administration clerk with Headquarters and Service Company, Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, works with a Marine role-player during a non-combatant evacuations training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 9, 2011. A non-combatant evacuation operation is conducted at the request of the U.S. ambassador of a country needing assistance to evacuate American citizens and other authorized individuals. The Marines and sailors of the 22nd MEU are currently deployed with Amphibious Squadron 6 aboard USS Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and will continue to conduct a series of progressively complex exercises designed to train and test the MEU’s ability to operate as a cohesive and effective Marine Air Ground Task Force.
