Ricardo Martinez, an infantryman assigned to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s (MEU) Headquarters and Support Company, applies a tourniquet to a mannequin during a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) practical application aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), Oct. 23,2017. TCCC is a course that teaches Marines and Sailors how to provide medical care in a tactical, combat environment.
