The Defense Innovation Board holds its fifth public meeting to discuss innovation opportunities for the Department of Defense. Chaired by Eric Schmidt, executive chairman of Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, the DIB was established a year ago to help identify innovative private-sector practices and technological solutions that the DoD could employ in the future.
