Troops of the Joint Task Force 71 demonstrate their equipment assets and capabilities at the American Heroes Celebration in Austin, Texas, April 16. The event, which brings together elements from throughout the Texas Military Forces to honor past and present service members, features displays and activities for the entire Austin community to enrich their understanding of the Guard. The JTF 71 brigade supported the event with tactical and emergency response equipment to showcase their capabilities as the state's incident management outfit, offering attendees the opportunity to witness first-hand the interagency cooperation of the Army National Guard.
