Spc. Patrick D. Forsthoefel, Alpha Company, Special Troops Battalion, 37th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Ohio National Guard, fires blank rounds to cover a fellow soldier crossing through barbed wire and a smoke grenade during individual movement techniques training at the Camp Ravenna Joint Maneuver Training Center, Ravenna, Ohio, April 17. The IMT is one of more than 200 common training tasks that Forsthoefel, as well as about 3,600 other soldiers of the 37th brigade, must complete before they are scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan in fall 2011 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
