STRAIT OF HORMUZ (Oct. 22, 2017) Lt. j.g. Robert Lucey, from Wantagh, N.Y., plots a contact while standing watch on the bridge aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59) as the ship transits the Strait of Hormuz. Princeton is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigation and the free flow of commerce in the region.
