SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- Gen. Mark A. Milley, the Chief of Staff of the Army, speaks with a patient under the care of Army doctors and nurses attached to the 14th Combat Support Hospital in Humacao, Puerto Rico, 3 Nov. 2017. While at the site, Milley checked in on many patients and spoke with Col. Rachele Smith, 14th CSH commander, about her unit’s mission to provide temporary medical, surgical, and acute care services to the Humacao area. Milley spent the day visiting troop sites around the island in order to personally assess the status, effectiveness, and morale of the thousands of military personnel helping the people of Puerto Rico.
