Members of B Company, 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, pose for a group photo in Fagaalu Park after the first-ever, Flag Day “Go For Broke” 5K Run. The 3.2-mile run began in Fagaalu Park and followed the coastal road to Utulei Beach and then ended back at Fagaalu Park. The run was sponsored by the Army’s Morale, Welfare and Recreation. Army MWR is a network of quality support and leisure services that enhances the lives of Soldiers, civilians, families, military retirees and other eligible participants. Each Soldier who participated in the run received a commemorative t-shirt marking the event.
The 100th Battalion is part of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 9th Mission Support Command, which is headquartered in Honolulu.
