Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew Groh, cryptologic technician (technical), assigned to the visit board, search and seizure team from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ponce, transits to the guided-missile destroyer USS Barry with his team aboard an 11-meter rigid-hull inflatable boat for joint VBSS training. Ponce is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
