Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) facilities personnel held an Energy Awareness Fair in support of Energy Action Month at the Mokapu Mall, MCBH, Oct. 26, 2017. The base facilities department along with other organizations such as Hawaii Electric and Marine Corps Community Services set up displays to promote energy awareness and energy conservation. The base strives to place renewable energy as a top priority in its mission readiness by utilizing innovative methods such as solar power and energy saving lighting throughout base.
