Staff Sgt. Daniel Rhodes, a member of the 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, shooting team, is presented a distinguished pistol trophy by Maj. Gen. James Hartsell, the mobilization assistant to the commander of U.S. Pacific Command, during the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition, Pacific, awards ceremony, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Nov. 3, 2017. Rhodes earned the first gold pistol badge for pistol and second gold badge for rifle, as well as the Gunner’s Trophy in the competition.
