Kitazawa and Air Force Lt. Gen. Burton M. Field, commander of the Joint Support Force and the United States Forces, Japan, were on hand to watch the Marines with the CBIRF and the Japan Ground Self Defense Forces demonstrate their collective ability to work together in a chemical, biological or nuclear event.
