Cody Perez, a native from the Bronx, New York, assigned to 4/2CR, in preparation for firing live Stinger Missiles on the last day of exercise Artemis Strike in Crete, an island along the coast of Greece, Nov. 8, 2017. Artemis Strike is an annual NATO exercise led by Germans and include over 200 U.S. personnel. During this exercise, 2CR soldiers fired Stinger missiles for the first time.
