The Air Force Office of Special Investigations held an annual Crime Scene Investigation/ Active shooter exercise, here, April 27. The scene was prepared with sheep's blood and a moulaged dummy victim, giving it a gruesome and realistic feel. The scenario; a husband returning from deployment, had post traumatic stress disease, killed his wife and abducted his child. The neighbor hears the shots and phones 911. At the simulated residence, Bldg 930, Security Forces cleared the residence and OSI processed the scene gathering evidence. The suspect killed his child and an active shooter incident took place. This exercise helped field agents sharpen their CSI skills.
