Kenneth Sherman, field officer director for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Seoul, South Korea, answers a service member’s concerns about the naturalization process for deployed service members at the Kandahar Airfield legal office on April 19. During the week, Sherman naturalized four service members set to return to their forward operating bases in support of Operation Enduring Freedom throughout Afghanistan. The USCIS team was supported by members of Joint Sustainment Command – Afghanistan, a Mississippi Army National Guard unit that has been deployed to Afghanistan since early October in support of OEF.
